What does this have to do with Biscotti-CMP?
Biscotti-CMP is a product of Campcruisers GmbH, which Campcruisers originally developed for its own use. As a marketplace with 9 different languages and high compliance requirements, the founders faced the challenge of implementing a Consent Management Platform that would meet Germany's stringent data protection legal requirements and display consent banners based on the website visitor's language. At the same time, the founders faced the challenge of having to generate many different legal texts with limited resources, a task that consumed several thousand euros even before the Campcruisers platform launched. In the past year, they learned that several AI models had successfully passed Germany's Second State Examination in Law and the comparable Bar Exam in the USA, demonstrating their ability to solve complex legal challenges. The founders subsequently delved deeply into developing AI prompts, produced initial coherent promotional videos for Campcruisers, and then came up with the idea of taking consent management into their own hands. This was the birth of Biscotti CMP.
Who are the Founders?
Daniel BoschCo-Founder & CEO Daniel Bosch, born in Bonn in 1978, studied Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin. He began his professional career in 2005 at the online rental marketplace www.erento.com, followed by several years at getmobile AG in Munich and Shirtinator AG (also in Munich), where he headed the Online Marketing and Sales department. In 2009, Daniel founded eat-star GmbH, one of Germany's first food delivery marketplaces, which was acquired by Lieferando in 2011. Daniel then expanded the international branch of the former Posterjack GmbH in Argentina before returning to Germany. As Head of Sales, Daniel built up the sales division of the then newly founded Campanda GmbH, but left the company in 2015 to establish mentavio, the first online marketplace for psychological online counseling in Germany. After 2 years as Head of Startup Dealflow at the Business Angels Club Berlin Brandenburg, Daniel co-founded Campcruisers GmbH in May 2024 with Dipl.-Ing. Philipp Marschall, a global booking platform for motorhomes, campsites, and houseboats, soon to feature intelligent AI-powered holiday planning.
Philipp André MarschallCo-Founder Philipp André Marschall, born in Munich in 1978, is a qualified engineer (Diplom-Ingenieur). Throughout his career, he gained valuable international experience, spending extended periods in Canada, Brazil, and Austria, among other places – travel and life experiences that significantly shape his understanding of globetrotters' needs to this day. Before his current venture, Philipp was deeply involved in the startup ecosystem, working as an investor and active business angel within the Business Angels Club Berlin Brandenburg (BACB). In this role, he mentored and financed promising young companies (including highly sustainability-focused startups) during their setup and growth. It was in this professional environment that his path crossed with Daniel Bosch. In May 2024, the two combined their expertise and co-founded Campcruisers GmbH. As co-founder and authorized signatory, Philipp now leverages his investor and travel experience to drive the development of this global booking platform for motorhomes, campsites, and houseboats, which will soon offer users intelligent AI-powered holiday planning.
