Fair Use Policy – Biscotti CMP
Effective: March 25, 2026
Scope
This Fair Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all users of the Biscotti Consent Management Platform ("Biscotti CMP") operated by Campcruisers GmbH ("we", "us", "our"). It supplements our General Terms and Conditions and governs the responsible use of AI-generation features included in your subscription plan.
1. AI Document Generation – Plan Limits
Biscotti CMP includes AI-powered legal document generation as part of its feature set. Fair use limits apply per plan:
- Free & Starter: Up to 3 AI generations per document type per month (e.g. 3 privacy policy drafts, 3 imprint drafts).
- Growth, Business & Agency: Unlimited AI generations. "Unlimited" means reasonable usage consistent with normal business operations.
2. What Constitutes Fair Use
Fair use means using the AI generation features for their intended purpose: creating, updating, or iterating on legal documents for your own websites or, in the case of Agency plans, for your clients' websites.
3. What Constitutes Misuse
The following activities are considered misuse:
- Automated or scripted mass-generation of documents not tied to active websites in your account.
- Using generated legal texts for resale or redistribution outside of Biscotti CMP.
- Deliberately circumventing plan limits (e.g. creating multiple free accounts).
- Using AI generation to produce content unrelated to consent management or legal compliance.
4. Enforcement
We monitor aggregate usage patterns (not individual document contents). If we detect usage significantly exceeding normal patterns, we will:
- Contact you to discuss and clarify usage.
- If misuse is confirmed, provide a 14-day notice to adjust usage.
- If misuse continues, we reserve the right to temporarily limit AI generation access or terminate the account per our General Terms.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our services. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance.
